Meet Dogs with Jobs:

Howling Dog Tours uses the popular Alaskan Racing Huskies for all their tours; this breed originated from the villages in Alaska where racers crossed the hearty and beautiful Siberian Husky to other breeds such as the greyhound and setter; this created a breed well suited to sled dog racing and touring. Friendly, sleek, and good natured, the Alaskan Husky comes in a variety of colors, sizes and attitudes! You can meet dogs in our kennel from well know racers as Sam Perrino, Ross Saunderson, Terry Streeper, and Doug Swingley. The most recent additions to our kennel and breeding lines are Iditarod and/or Yukon Quest veteran dogs - Whitney, Tanner, Gizmo, Flounder, Bullet, Enigma and Eclipse! From our early racing days (1989 to 1995), we have developed a great kennel of eager, friendly dogs; the working breed you will see are kept healthy and happy - it shows in their attitude! Bugsy is a beautiful four-year-old female who is a real people lover! She absolutely loves getting hugs, and knows her job well. Her stunning blue eyes are her best feature!

Gizmo, a six-year-old male, comes to us from the kennel of Sam Perrino of Yellowknife, NWT. Gizmo has recently raced the famous Iditarod, Yukon Quest, and several stage-stop races in the northwestern United States. A proven leader, Gizmo is a great asset to our kennel.
